On saturday 23rd of september myself and dayrl went skydiving, dayrl didn't know about it . We met up with our instructor put on the gear and went off in this mini van to the airport, me and dayrl hardly said a word on the way there. i didn't even know there was an airport at redcliffe. We got into this dodgy plane it was cramped as they reckon they usually take one more person up fucks me where they would fit. the plane ride was more scary than the jump itself.
why jump out of a perfectly good plane mybe because its not a perfectly good plane...
I was sitting on the edge of the door of the plane legs under the plane thinking "i wish my instructor hurry up would push me out" it was the weirdest feeling at first scary as fuck for the first few seconds, until the little paraschute stopped us from flipping uncontrollably. the veiw was awesome i could see all the way from the gold coast to mooloolaba way out to sea.
from here on it was the best thing i'd ever done falling at over 250km/hr, just by moving your hands you could spin 360 degree's
i was a little relieved that the parachute had opened because the ground was getting close very quickly i think we were still 1500 feet up and i was given the controls pulling down on one handle hard made us go into a spin/dive was pretty cool, my ears had popped and i couldn't hear a thing
we headed towards the beach it was windy as. There was magpie's attacking the parachute.
We landed kinda hard and on my ass, i wanted another go it was awesome, the whole thing was filmed and put on dvd.
