On the weekend of the 4th and 5th of november myself and my old mates jay aka uncle ray ray, dayrl sally shaun black rabbit and katherine went up to land cruiser park for the mud bulls and music festival. its supposed to be the biggest and best four wheel drive event in queensland. We found it is the biggest hill billy and yokel gathering in south east queensland. i had never been to cruiser park before so at 6am saturday morning we all jumped into my jeep and jays vitara and drove to 50km's north west of kilcoy.the weather people said it was going to piss down rain all weekend. and it did about 10 minutes after we set up our camp site. but stopped by mid afternoon.

Our camp site turned into a flood plain so we decided to go forbying. we drove up this hill called telecom hill it was steep as and slippery as took me 4 attempts to get up it did help that on my final attempt i selected low range 4x4 at the bottom the owner got up me for drifting in the mud. we had a look at the events but they were boring i was more interested in cruising around.

we had lunch and it stopped raining so we went forbying again this time ulong a track which weaves along a creek. we kept driving tried a heap of different tracks as it turns out the map they gave us is useless as i swear someone thought it might be funny if they put the wrong signs on the tracks almost 1/2 of the signs are in the wrong place and we ended up hopelessly lost on a 4 hour cruise trying to get back to our camp site just as it got dark we ended up on and extreme rock track creek bed thing where i slid onto a rock because it started to storm i was stuck and needed to be snatched off as it was stuck under my diff. It was dark and pissing down with rain and we had no idea where the hell we were.

I got unstuck after about 15 mins we were all soaked hungry and lost we kept driving where we thought the signs pointed to and everything looked the same there was cow's, deer, kangaroo's all sorts of critters and it started to look like something of an australian blair witch project it was all exreme and difficult and up and down hill track was hard driving i was getting sore and giving my jeep a real work out. jay was bashing sills on rocks everywhere. it turned out to be one of the most awesome 4x4 trecks i'd ever been on and we covered most of the hard track in cruiser park but we eventually mad it home. the storm had passed and we cooked some diner. me and dayrl tried to light a camp fire but it was way to wet even with petrol.
because of the rain my bed had gotten a little wet which sucked, i think we all had a shit sleep especially shaun and katherine who only brought 1 sleeping bag and a few pillows, i was up at 6am on sunday we had breakfast and back into the forby's we played in the mud drove around everywhere again watched some events a hardcore forby rolled then we packed up and came home we were too late to fet a wakeboard in, and we didn't break our forby's at all. good times were had by all even shaun had a playing the mud behind the wheel.

this guy reversed up a steep ass hill that would eat my jeep took him a few goes tho
this is the rock crawling even or something the most psyco 4x4's i have ever seen this one rolled. some of these things drove over rock taller than me
i know its not 4wd'ing but dayrl put some muddies on his XF ute and took into oakey flats the mad fucker hit the mud holes at about 60km/hr put his fan through his radiator was funny as
